Celergy Networks is a single source provider of network and communications support services. These extend from high value commercial and technical consulting and major project management, through to delivery and installation of IT networks and wireless communications systems. From desktop to DMARC, Celergy Networks has served as a one-stop solution for Fortune 1000 clients across the country.

Project management lies at the heart of most of Celergy’s activities. We have developed our own project management tool, “Advantage” to make project management a key differentiator for our company. We have the capability to manage effectively large numbers of subcontractors in multiple locations, and maintain the highest quality and timeliness of deliverables. We maintain visibility of the project 24x7 and provide our clients with their own portals into the project tool so that they too can monitor progress directly.

Our delivery capability is backed up by a network of 3,000 subcontractors all around the USA and Canada, so that we can take on delivery and installation projects in any location or simultaneously across the country. These delivery projects include a range of large scale deployments, such as desktop renewals and provisioning, multi-site WiFi deployments, VoIP deployments, core and WAN networks (fiber, microwave and cabled), large scale radio network build and large-scale structured cabling installations.

Our large and growing body of knowledge and experience in IT and communications projects gives Celergy a unique insight into the more strategic aspects of system definition and design, and in recent years an increasing part of our business has been to pass on that knowledge in the form of consulting services.
We employ highly qualified IT professionals, some of whom have worked as C-Level executives in their own right, who will advise on vendor selection, business case for a project, vendor contract negotiation, system design and so forth, as well as providing the core technical expertise to perform the actual design and planning of the deployment and provide the project management. Unlike many major or “boutique” consulting companies, Celergy’s consulting services are deeply rooted in practical implementation experience and executed by professional who are themselves currently engaged in system design and delivery.

Celergy has been one of the first systems integrators to enter the emergent Smart Grid sector. We have invested in resources and training, and (as at the end of 2009) already executed on several major projects around strategy for upgrade of multi-service wide area communications networks, vendor selection, network design, build out of core networks, VoIP network implementation and provisioning, and fiber and structured cabling build out. As well as our in-depth understanding of the operational and growth needs of utilities, we can provide detailed knowledge of the AMI and infrastructure vendor space and are accustomed to working in the heavily regulated world of Public Utility Commissions (PUCs), the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the Department of Energy (DoE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE).

Celergy Networks is privately held and headquartered in Carlsbad, California close to San Diego. It was originally founded in 1989 as Advance Cable Systems.
